Sentimental Value was screened during the London Film Festival on Sunday, with Elle Fanning in attendance, continuing her unpredictable streak of red carpet choices.
Throughout this press tour, Elle has surprised us by stepping away from her signature ethereal and ultra-feminine aesthetic in favour of something more modern, structured, and self-assured.
This Simone Rocha Spring 2026 look is yet another perfect embodiment of that shift. The Irish designer reimagines evening glamour here — sequins meet structure, with a glistening tank dress cascading into sculptural draping over voluminous trousers. It’s elegant yet grounded, soft yet assertive, and speaks directly to the duality Elle has been exploring lately.
Does Elle wear it well? Absolutely. What some might find unfamiliar, I’m finding intriguing. Her stylist, Samantha McMillen, has clearly been intent on pushing her client into new territory — and it’s paying off.
Finishing her look with Manolo Blahnik Ramisli sandals, a Cartier watch, and a Panthère de Cartier ring, Elle completed her ensemble with a sleek bun with artistry of Simone Rocha’s design take centre stage.
Stylist: Samantha McMillen.
