Menswear had plenty of standout moments this week, and while the spotlight often falls on the gowns, these gents more than earned their style credit.
A Big Bold Beautiful Journey London Premiere
Colin Farrell could have borrowed David Duchovny’s iconic line to Jennifer Lopez at the 2000 Grammys: “This is the first time in years where I know no one is looking at me.” Margot Robbie may have had the dress of the night, but Colin wasn’t exactly fading into the background. His Dolce & Gabbana trench coat was the perfect choice in London last night given the earlier downpour, but his look was polished enough to feel premiere-worthy. Underneath? A Martini-fit Dolce suit, satin tie, and patent leather derby shoes. Quietly dashing.

Harlem Fashion Row’s 18th Annual Awards
Usher picked up the Virgil Abloh Award — an honor given to those who embody Virgil’s spirit, brilliance, and vision through culture, community, and innovation. And honestly, who better? He accepted in an AMIRI Fall 2025 green striped leather suit, styled with brown velvet loafers and sunglasses that only Usher could pull off. On anyone else this suit could’ve felt loud, but on Usher it looked perfectly at home.

Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame Induction
Carmelo Anthony’s induction was always going to be emotional, but his look added a layer of storytelling. His custom Public School New York suit was a nod to his iconic draft-night ensemble, modernised with help from longtime stylist Khalilah Beavers and designer Maxwell Osborne. It wasn’t just a suit — it was a career coming full circle.

The Long Walk LA Premiere
David Jonsson proved archival isn’t just for the women. His Gucci by Tom Ford 1999/2000 leather coat anchored his look, styled with a crisp tee, tailored trousers, and lace-ups. Sleek, retro, yet undeniably current.

2025 Hispanic Heritage Awards
Rauw Alejandro charmed in AMIRI Spring 2026 beige suit. The silk brown shirt and printed tie oozed personality, but the real thrill was his tan shoes. A reminder that menswear footwear comes in more than one colour.
