Sarah Paulson Steps Out in Khaite at Hall of Fame Ceremony

Sarah Paulson attended the Television Academy’s 27th Annual Hall of Fame Ceremony in Los Angeles on Saturday, where she showed her support for the industry’s honourees while giving us yet another unexpected fashion moment.

If there’s one thing we’ve learned about Sarah, it’s that she refuses to settle into a predictable groove. That said, a pattern is emerging: she’s been leaning towards what I like to call the “Cecilie Bahnsen silhouette”—voluminous, unconventionally shaped, and designed to challenge traditional red-carpet expectations. We’ve seen it before in her Nackiyé dress at the Evita press night after party and her sculptural The Row gown at the MOCA Gala.

This time, however, Sarah switched things up with something that felt more directional. Her ivory frayed-edge dress from the Khaite Fall 2025 collection featured an asymmetrical zipper that gave the romantic texture a slightly industrial edge. That clever tension—the softness of the fabric offset by the sharpness of the zip—made this outing feel fresh compared to her earlier experiments with similar silhouette.

She kept the styling simple but effective: a silver ear cuff and ring for a glint of modernity, black peep-toe heels, and her trusty black Métier clutch. Altogether, it was a look that struck a balance between her fondness for unconventional shapes and a cleaner, more streamlined energy.
