Nicholas Hoult was spotted at Broadcasting House earlier today for his BBC Radio interview in London, gearing up for the Superman premiere later tonight. And while the red carpet awaits, he continues to show sartorial strength in his colour palette of choice this week: brown

Wearing Prada, the actor served up a casually elevated daytime outfit that played with contrast in a smart, considered way. His classic cotton T-shirt was given a subtle remix with white layering and accents that added dimension to the sporty silhouette. Paired with relaxed-fit linen trousers, the whole look felt unfussy.

Then there were the white socks. Not my favourite element at first glance, but when you take in the T-shirt’s design, they suddenly make sense. It’s a styling choice that brings a bit of uniformity to the outfit—and a bit of a ’90s throwback flair.

Comfortable, confident, and still within the brown-toned universe he’s clearly enjoying right now, Nicholas is setting a strong tone for the day. If this is the casual warm-up, I can’t wait to see what he delivers at the premiere this evening.
