Keira Knightley Wears Two Chanel Looks in Biarritz

Keira Knightley was among the honoured “Gazteria” guests at the 3rd Nouvelles Vagues International Biarritz Film Festival this weekend, bringing her signature grace—and a double helping of Chanel.

As a longtime ambassador for the house, Keira in Chanel usually feels like a match made in fashion heaven. But her first look from the Resort 2026 collection didn’t quite hit the usual high notes. The black glitter tulle blouse paired with matching flared trousers had potential, but the proportions were off. The trousers in particular felt far too long, dragging the look down—literally.

It’s rare that a Keira x Chanel moment doesn’t charm me instantly, but this one didn’t quite land. Which is surprising considering how good this looked on the model.

Thankfully, redemption was swift. Her second look from the same collection—a dreamy ecru and white cotton-silk cardigan and matching lace-trimmed dress—was much more in tune with what we’ve come to expect. Romantic, effortless, and undeniably Chanel.

The styling, featuring black patent leather mules and a stack of Chanel Fine Jewelry rings (Plume and Coco Crush), tied the whole look together beautifully.

Keira closed out her festival appearance on a high—and reminded us why she continues to be one of the house’s most timeless ambassadors.
