Anthony Vaccarello presented his Saint Laurent Spring 2026 Menswear collection during Paris Fashion Week, and the front row was exactly as sharp, moody, and tailored as you’d expect—with a few unexpected twists.
High Drama, Low Impact
As much as I enjoy her usual sleek style, I found myself struggling with this Saint Laurent Spring 2025 look on Leslie Bibb. The ruffled collar, in particular, felt disconnected from her usual vibe, and the almost costume-like mood didn’t quite sit right. Chloe Sevigny wore a similar look and made it feel lived-in and authentic—here, it just feels like the outfit is wearing her.

New Label, Same Swagger
Giveon surprised us all with a rare break from Chanel, opting instead for a Saint Laurent Prince of Wales jacket and striped tie. From the waist up, it was all business and retro charm. From the waist down—leather trousers, which felt far more in line with his signature style. A fun mix of unexpected and familiar.

Too Hot to Handle
Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Dominic Fike also both committed to leather in June. Aaron in trousers, Dominic in an aviator jacket. While I respect the dedication, just the thought of these looks in summer heat breaks me out in hives.

Still Not Convinced
Del Water Gap brought back the Saint Laurent Fall 2025 thigh-high boots. This was yet another attempt to make them happen. I think it’s time to let it go—fetch isn’t happening here.

Tailoring, But Make It Smouldering
Gabriella is exactly who she knows she is. I love how she managed to channel her signature sultry energy through the lens of classic Saint Laurent menswear. The tuxedo may be timeless, but on her, it felt anything but traditional.

Almost
I was completely on board with Keith Powers’ Saint Laurent beige, pink, and olive palette. The colours worked beautifully together—then came the visible boxers, which dulled my enthusiasm.

Lace Done Right
The only surprising thing about Anja Rubik at this event is that she’s wearing blue. Leave it to her to take sheer guipure lace and make it look effortlessly cool.

The Pants-Free Club
Erin Wasson took the Saint Laurent tailored aesthetic and removed the need for trousers or a skirt altogether. It worked, mostly because she knows exactly how to sell it.

Quietly Ahead of the Curve
Evan Mock is usually the one pushing boundaries style-wise, but for this show, he kept things relatively understated in a Saint Laurent tuxedo. That said, the signature edge was still there thanks to the ruffled collar, which added just enough flair to keep things interesting.

Sweater Weather
Doyeon Kim and Cristin Milioti were holding tight to their knits, determined to make a case for sweater weather in Paris. Doyeon gets away with it by leaning into the chicness of it all with her styling—even if we know it’s definitely not knitwear season.
