Mason Thames is steadily establishing himself as a rising force in red carpet menswear. At the Los Angeles premiere of How to Train Your Dragon, he joined co-star Nico Parker in a look that further cements his status as one of fashion’s most promising new talents.
Wearing a green sequin shirt and matching trousers from Gucci’s Fall 2025 collection, Mason skipped the standard issue suit in favour of something a little more adventurous—and it paid off. I just wish red carpet wasn’t covered by shadows, as the shimmer of those sequins—particularly on the shirt—was far more striking in the sunlight.

It’s always encouraging when a young actor doesn’t play it safe with their style, and Mason seems to be leaning into that early. This look had personality, texture and confidence, and while black Gucci shoes with the signature horsebit kept things grounded, the overall impression was far from typical.
There’s a sense of ease in how he’s embracing menswear with flair.
Stylists: Wendi Ferreira and Nicole DeJulio.
