Camila Alves McConaughey attended the 2025 Mack, Jack & McConaughey Gala in Austin, Texas on Thursday, bringing a touch of East Coast garden party glam to the Lone Star State in a black and white rose shadow print hi-lo gown from Carolina Herrera’s Spring 2025 collection.
This gown is dripping in gala-ready charm—flowy, romantic, and giving just the right amount of springtime flair. The print is striking, the shape is dramatic, and I’ll admit it’s a gorgeous piece. Even the hi-lo hem, which usually divides opinions, works here in a grand, sweeping way.
That said, I personally lean toward Camila’s sexier, sleeker style. This look feels like a bit of a detour. A lovely one, but a detour nonetheless.
You may remember that this dress has already had its red carpet moment courtesy of Kerry Washington at the 2024 Academy Museum Gala. And if I had to pick between the two, I’d say this look feels more “Kerry” than “Camila.”
